A great deal of research has gone in to the creation of these decals  to assure that they are as historically accurate as possible. Art has listed the recommended car colors, and the car lengths, so that the modeler can build accurate representations of the actual prototype cars.

It must be understood however, that the research was done from black & white photographs, period posters, labels, and related materials to ascertain actual car lettering colors. This process renders the most accurate replica of the car, while utilizing the research available. Since the lettering is "lifted" from the photo, the decal along with the actual photo/drawing will in all cases, produce the most accurate car available.
